I Trained with the London Ambulance Service in 2007, gaining a degree in Paramedic science at the University of Greenwich. I worked on double crewed ambulances and Fast response cars, responding to 999 calls in the South East and Central London. I progressed to training and mentoring new staff in 2015. During this period, I also ran a first aid training company. I took the leap to Primary Care in 2022. My broad range of experience with acute and minor illness is very transferable to work in the surgery, I’m currently formalising my experience with a Level 7 course in First Contact Practice, this extends my skills and knowledge and gives the opportunity to eventually become an independent prescriber aswell.

I qualified as a paramedic after completing a three-year paramedic science Degree in 2010. I then worked for the London Ambulance Service on the fast response car and became a Practice Educator, mentoring students. In 2016, I became one of the first paramedics to provide a home visiting service on behalf of a group of GP surgeries in Essex. In 2018, I moved to DGS home visiting, covering Swanley, Dartford, and Gravesend, and completed modules in further education. In 2021, I decided to move to primary care for a surgery in Swanley. I started working at Devon Road in 2024, and I am currently studying at Medway University to complete my independent prescribing.
