Please make sure you arrive on time for your appointment – late arrival will result in you not seeing the clinician and your appointment having to be re-booked.
If you need medical advice while we are closed, please contact the following:
If you need medical advice during this time, please call 111 or visit www.111.nhs.uk.
If you have an emergency, please call 999.
A&E, urgent treatment centres, and minor injury units are for urgent same-day needs. To help emergency departments deal with these urgent cases, patients who can wait for treatment will be directed to the most appropriate service after the bank holiday weekend.
If calling the surgery for results, please call after 11 am.
If emailing the surgery, please do not ask for appointments or send photos of your concerns as we are unable to act on them or keep the photos – please call the surgery for an appointment!
If you have friends or family staying with you temporarily (less than three months) and they need medical advice or attention, do not bring them to the surgery – please take them to an urgent care centre or accident and emergency for fast treatment – thank you.

Comments and Suggestions
We always try to provide a friendly and efficient service to our patients. We do, however, welcome suggestions on how we can improve our services to you. Recommendations can be made in person to our receptionists, in writing to Jo White the Practice Manager or via the kmicb.haveyoursay.g82218@nhs.net email. This email address is not monitored constantly, so it is important that it isn’t used for clinical problems or anything needing a rapid response. In that case we ask that you use Anima or contact the surgery and our patient navigators will do their best to help you.
We value and read all comments and make changes where possible, but because of our time constraints it is unrealistic for us to respond to all of these.
Complaints Procedure
If you feel we haven’t provided the best service possible and haven’t been able to resolve your problem by speaking with one of our patient navigators. You may think it is necessary to make a formal complaint, the following information explains our in-house complaints procedure.
We ask that you submit your concerns in writing where possible so please ask for a complaint form at reception or request an online form. Please do so as soon as possible- ideally within a matter of a few days, this will enable us to establish what happened more easily.
We believe it is important to deal with complaints swiftly, so you will be sent an acknowledgement letter within 3 working days of the complaint and a formal response within as soon as we are able, but we will keep you informed throughout. We will try to address your concerns, provide you with an explanation and discuss any action that may be needed.
Our practice procedure is not able to deal with questions of legal liability or compensation. We hope it will allow us to investigate and if necessary, correct any problems that you have identified, or mistakes that have been made. If you use this procedure, it will not affect your right to complain to the Health Service Authority.
Please note that we have to respect our duty of confidentiality to patients and a patient’s consent will be necessary if a complaint is not made by the patient in person.
